Smockingbird Policies:

All Sales Final

All sales are final.  If you ever have a question about sizing, fit, or anything else, we would be glad to assist before placing an order.  We are not able to accept order cancellations, modifications, returns, or exchanges.  This includes packages refused by the customer.  

Should you receive a defective product, kindly provide written notice of such within 48 hours of receipt (according to the tracking record).  In that event we will provide a replacement if available, or else store credit, upon prompt return of the unworn merchandise if confirmed to be defective.  Please contact us at smockingbirdapparel@gmail.com to discuss any concerns with your purchases.

Shipping

Shipping is a flat rate of $5 to ship any number of items within the U.S. and a flat rate of $10 to ship any number of items to Canada.  We do our best to ship all purchases within two weeks.  Most ship much sooner.  If you have a deadline in mind, please email prior to ordering to confirm that your pretties will ship before you need them.  If we can make it happen we certainly will!  A United States Postal Service (USPS) tracking number will be provided upon shipment.  Orders are able to be shipped only to the address used at checkout.  

For a quote on shipping to any other country, kindly contact us at smockingbirdapparel@gmail.com. Please know that you will be responsible for any import fees that your country may assess upon arrival, including duties, taxes, customs clearance fees and brokerage fees. Please be aware of the fees for your specific destination, as we don't want you to be surprised at the fees when your package arrives! International shipments cannot be marked as GIFT, and the exact value that you pay for the item must be declared on the customs forms.  International shipments are insured until they leave the US. Once it has left the United States, we are no longer responsible for the package.

Sizing

Smockingbird Fine Children’s Apparel takes pride in sewing true-to-size clothing.  We use industry standards in creating and sizing our patterns so that you will always know how something will fit.  If something is fitting in an unusual way, or is intended as a longer top/shorter dress, we will make a note of that in the description.   If you have ANY question about sizing, please contact us and we will help you make the appropriate selection!  We want you to love what you buy.

Limited Quantities

Smockingbird Fine Children’s Apparel offers fine children’s clothing in extremely limited quantities.  In an attempt to spread the love among all our fans, we reserve the right to limit the quantity and/or size of a garment that any one customer may purchase.  We may cancel orders placed beyond these limits at our discretion.

Promotions

On occasion we are able to offer a discount, gift with purchase, free shipping, rewards points, or other promotion.  Any promotional code must be applied at the time of purchase and cannot be applied to previous orders.  No price adjustment will be made after placing an order.
